A Santulina Nursery in Ponte-Leccia, Haute-Corse
Nursery in Ponte-Leccia near Corte in Upper Corsica
The A Santulina nursery is located 1 km on the left after leaving Ponte-Leccia heading toward Corte, before the turn on the long straight stretch where the 70 km/h speed limit begins, in the municipality of Piedigriggio. Ideally situated on a major highway just 15 minutes from Corte and 20 minutes from Morosaglia, the nursery serves Central Corsica as well as Castagniccia, Balagne, and the Golo Valley.
Marie-Stéphanie Filippini runs the nursery, and her husband André Filippini manages all landscaping work. Both come from a farming background and have been nursery and vegetable growers for 26 years. A Santulina welcomes you all week long at the Ponte Leccia nursery, open year-round except from January 1 to 31, during the annual closure.
Vegetable plants for your garden in Corsica
In spring and summer, the A Santulina nursery offers a wide selection of vegetable seedlings ready to be transplanted into the garden or a family vegetable patch. Tomatoes, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, eggplants, bell peppers, chili peppers, melons, watermelons, lettuce, basil, parsley, and even strawberry plants are grown on-site, in pots or trays, and selected for their suitability to the Corsican climate.
If you're behind on your sowing or want to save time, you'll find well-established seedlings ready to be planted.
The nursery also produces grafted tomato, eggplant, watermelon, and melon plants. More resistant to soil-borne diseases and often more vigorous, these plants are particularly popular for summer crops in Corsica, with varieties adapted to Mediterranean conditions.
Organic, non-hybrid, reproducible seeds
Gardening enthusiasts will also find a selection of organic, non-hybrid, reproducible seeds. These vegetable, fruit, and herb seeds allow you to harvest and save your own seeds from one year to the next while preserving the varietal characteristics of the plants you grow.
Tomatoes, zucchini, beans, lettuce, basil, parsley, and even honey plants: several varieties are available to create a diverse vegetable garden and promote sustainable family farming.
Organic all-purpose potting soil at your local nursery
The nursery also sells bags of clay, organic compost, and all-purpose potting mix suitable for organic farming. Available in 20- or 45-liter bags, these growing media are suitable for both planting in open ground and for growing in pots, planters, or vegetable containers.
Indoor and outdoor flowers
The A Santulina nursery offers a wide selection of flowers and ornamental plants year-round for gardens, terraces, balconies, and green spaces. Depending on the season, you'll find geraniums, hydrangeas, begonias, orchids, Kalanchoes, lilacs, bougainvilleas, lavender, Corsican immortelles, and many varieties of perennials suited to the Mediterranean climate.
Flower bouquets can also be arranged for various occasions such as weddings, baptisms, or other family events. For All Saints' Day, the nursery offers autumn-blooming chrysanthemums, while in May you'll find the traditional lily of the valley.
Your nursery owner, Marie-Stéphanie Filippini, assists both individuals and professionals in selecting plants based on their intended use: flowering plants for flower beds and planters, climbing plants like ivy to provide shade for a pergola or terrace, groundcover plants to prevent erosion, fragrant varieties such as lavender or scented geranium, as well as aquatic plants and ornamental shrubs.
Whether you're looking for seasonal flowers, drought-tolerant Mediterranean plants, or plants suited to Corsican gardens, the nursery will advise you on planting, exposure, and care to ensure long-lasting blooms.

Christmas Tree Sales in Haute-Corse
As the holiday season approaches, the A Santulina nursery begins offering Christmas trees for delivery in Corsica starting in late November. Several sizes are generally available to suit apartments, homes, and commercial spaces alike.
