Stroll around Aullène

A quaint hiking trail in the environs of Aullène in Alta Rocca, meandering through a forest of oaks and chestnut trees.

The walk can be completed entirely on foot, forming a loop from the village. It is marked with green signs. You will arrive at a plateau at the crossroads of multiple paths, overseen by a small chapel dedicated to Saint Antioch.

Slightly further down, one might stumble upon a tennis court in its current state, as well as some majestic chestnut trees.

Fauna and Flora

You will traverse a forest rich in its biodiversity, chiefly consisting of oaks, but also pines and chestnut trees under which you may encounter some rather bold pigs foraging for food. In autumn, the soil becomes conducive to the emergence of mushrooms.
