Located in a natural setting 4 km from the beaches, the Casa Albinaestate in Patrimonio, rated 3 ears for wine tourism by Gîtes de France, is also accredited by Logis-Vert-Corse for its eco-responsible ethic. Bordering a river on a hectare of garden, Casa Albinaoffers 4 independent 3-star cottages, in a farmhouse entirely made of stone, wood, and wrought iron. The accommodations are fully equipped, quiet, and available all year round.

A Meeting Imbued with Culture and Nature

Casa Albinawas created in 2003 under the impetus of Barbara Andreani, former nurse, co-designer of the Logis Vert Corse label, and her husband Christian Andreani, president of the Cultural Centre San Martinu Corsica. He is the current president of the European network of Saint Martin Cultural Centres and initiated the project for a stopover in Corsica on the Saint Martin pilgrimage, A Via Sancti Martini, in Corsica A Via San Martinu, from which the festival "Festivale d'Autunnu di a Ruralità" is an offshoot. Christian Andreani is also a singer and musician in the group Caramusa.

A Nature Integrated into the Places

Nature retains its rights on the site, which hosts projects ranging from cultural to heritage and ecology. The estate is located on the edge of the vineyard and the village of Patrimonio, continuing past the Post Office, then the Church of San Martinu, 1.5 km from the village center, 4 km from the beaches and 5 km from Saint-Florent.

An Enclosed Hectare of Park Along the River

The site is isolated on a hectare of wooded parkland, flowered and equipped with a permaculture vegetable garden, as well as a chicken coop.

Further down, the land is bordered by the eponymous Albinu river, crowned by its Genoese bridge. The watercourse is directly accessible from the estate through a gate, or another one leading to the Genoese bridge.

A philosophy of life that Barbara and Christian love to share with their guests, the art of living in short circuit enjoying the peace and nature through these places that invite discovery as well as leisure, in the sun loungers in the sun or in the shade of a few century-old trees.

Oven Independent Cottages (with wifi)

The Casa Albinaestate has 4 independent cottages, two of which are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Each one has a view of the landscape from every window. One of them has three furnished terraces.

The accommodations are divided into: two T2s, Acetula and Levente, of 34 and 37 m2, a T3 Regina of 54 m2 and the Ponente house, T4 of 74 m2, for a total capacity in 3 stars, of 14 people and a spacious 17m² annex room.

Casa Albinarentals are equipped with a washing machine, television, fully equipped kitchens with refrigerator/freezer, refurbished in the old style with thick stone walls and pergolas, in wrought iron which maintain a very good temperature summer and winter.

Casa Albinaalso offers you, for an additional fee, a local breakfast including seasonal farm products from the orchard, the garden or nearby as well as homemade compositions. If you wish, you can have meals delivered to your cottage and participate in a Corsican evening from 14 people.

If you enjoy cycling, you can take advantage of several mountain bikes available for your use free of charge, as well as electric bikes that are available for rent and with a deposit.

Harmony with Nature

On the estate, ecology is not a simple whim but the result of an awareness acquired ahead of time on the need to change our lifestyle and live with nature.

The choice of exposed stone walls, a solar-powered gate, plants and trees omnipresent even in the alleys, but also a chicken coop and a permaculture garden that reduces human interventions, produces more with fewer resources through natural techniques such as mulching, plant associations or the use of composting to feed the soil.

Here we also choose to recover and give a second life to objects and furniture, with harmony. So many simple good practices to implement and which contribute to the uniqueness of the place.

Close by, you can take the coastal trail to the Olzo campsite, or the heritage trail that starts below the San Martinu Church. Barbara can give you more details for these getaways in the region.
