Hotel chez Walter 15mn from Bastia

The Hôtel Restaurant Chez Walter has become one of the leading hotels in Haute-Corse. It is located in Lucciana just off the RT 20, 1 km from the Casamozza traffic circle and 5 km from Bastia-Poretta airport. Numerous shops are also nearby.

Open all year round, you'll be welcomed by trained staff at this fully renovated, three-star establishment just 15 minutes from Bastia and close to the train station.

Private, gated parking is also available to restaurant guests during the day.

Hotel with swimming pool and open park

Chez Walter boasts a wooded green space with flower-filled paths leading to the hotel's swimming pool. The pool is 16 meters long and between 6 and 10 meters wide. It is protected by a barred fence and equipped with night lighting.

Chairs and deckchairs are available on the terrace for sunbathing, or in the shaded area, where umbrellas are also available.

Tennis court

Behind the pool is a screened tennis court. The equipment is available to guests, who will appreciate the care taken with the facilities.

Standard rooms

With a surface area of around 16m², standard rooms are equipped with one 140cm bed or two 100cm beds and can accommodate 1 to 3 people at the most affordable rate, starting from €88. They also feature a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden.

Privilege rooms

More spacious, with a surface area of 22m², prestige rooms have a 160cm bed and a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden.

Luxury suite

The deluxe suite offers almost 40m² of space with a 180 cm bed. It has a sitting area with sofa and a balcony overlooking the garden. A second double bed can be added on request.

Prestige suite

The prestige suite is service excellence. 60m² of comfort, equipped with a 180° bed, a terrace opening onto the garden and a sitting area. In addition to all the amenities already common to all our offers, the prestige suite features a whirlpool bath, hydromassage shower and SPA bathtub. A private entrance that's perfect for a wedding night.

In 2024, the hotel equipped itself with a wellness area for the comfort of its guests. The SPA is located straight across from the fitness room.

Opening hours

An automatically opening door gives access to the SPA, which is open from 4pm to 9pm, with reservations at reception.

As you enter, you'll find two shower rooms facing each other, with washbasin and WC. Just beyond, two Saunas face each other, with control monitors inside.

At the far left is a Jacuzzi and opposite it, behind a screen, a massage table.

Restaurant Chez Walter semi-gastronomic - Open to all

The restaurant features a large indoor dining room and a terrace overlooking the park. A pleasant setting and refined semi-gastronomic cuisine where fresh regional produce and local fishing determine the daily menu.

The Chez Walter restaurant is open to all, hotel guests and non-guests alike. Opening hours are from 12:00 to 14:30, and from 19:30 to 22:30.

Conference rooms - seminars - meetings

Chez Walter provides meeting, seminar and conference rooms for businesses, professionals and training organizations. A total of 4 rooms with capacities ranging from 30 to 100 people, equipped with audio and video projectors to serve you in the best possible conditions.

Over 50 years in business

From the outset, the hotel's philosophy has been to develop its structure and add new services, as was the case with a large swimming pool surrounded by a verdant park adjoining a tennis court, intended for hotel guests.

Chez Walter is neither a chain nor a franchise, but an independent hotel complex created in 1971 by Walter and managed today by Pierre-Louis Collovigh. The 30-room hotel-restaurant was expanded with a first extension of 24 additional rooms in 1995, then a second extension in 2002 adding 12 new rooms as well as a meeting room and a conference room.
