Corsican organic wine and AOC Ajaccio

17 years ago, driven by the desire to make an old dream come true, Laurent Costa took over the reins of Domaine A Peraccia, guided by the sound advice of Jean Sandamiani. Easily identifiable by its black sign on the edge of the RT20, just 15 minutes fromAjaccio on the road to Bastia, the estate welcomes visitors all year round. At the end of a dirt track lined with vines, the estate store opens its doors to you for organic Corsican wine tastings or direct sales, with the option of mail-order.

From vine to glass, A Peraccia wines are certified AOP Ajaccio and organic Corsican wine, guaranteeing environmentally-friendly know-how and impeccable traceability right through to bottling.

Vineyards on the sunny Peri plain

Open all year round, Domaine A Peraccia is located on the Peri plain - one of the island's sunniest regions - where the vineyard enjoys a privileged position on 11 hectares of land in production.

Organic grapes - Natural weeding

Committed to certified organic farming, the A Peraccia estate implements natural practices that respect the vines and their environment. These include the planting of sentinel rosebushes at the head of the rows for early detection of certain diseases and fungi, such as powdery mildew. These roses, which are more sensitive than the vines, show the first warning signs, giving the winegrower time to take targeted, preventive action in the vineyard.

In keeping with the same philosophy, winter grazing is used to control weeds in the vineyards. In partnership with a local shepherdess, a flock of sheep roams the rows, grazing the grass while naturally fertilizing the soil. An ancestral method that promotes biodiversity, limits the use of machinery and enriches the soil, for a living, sustainable vineyard.

A Peraccia wine is sold directly from the estate store, which adjoins the cellar, where you can buy wine by credit card.

Wine tasting in Ajaccio (Peri) on reservation with Sommelier

With a room specially dedicated to this type of event, Laurent Costa organizes seminars for up to fifty people at the A Peraccia estate, such as the 17 mail 2022, wine tastings on reservation, and aperitif dinners. In groups of 10 to 15, you'll be accompanied by a sommelier who will introduce you to the world of our fruity wines and other house spirits. Chocolate tastings are also organized at Domaine A Peraccia. Dates for future sessions are available from the Ajaccio tourist office.

Working alone, with the help of seasonal workers for the harvest, Laurent Costa doesn't count the hours he spends on the estate. Driven by a passion for his craft and a sense of a job well done, his aim is to deliver a product of excellence. This personal commitment demands rigor and discipline, values that are familiar to this trained soldier.

The store is open Monday to Saturday in summer and Monday, Wednesday and Friday in winter, as indicated at the bottom of the page.

Limoncello and Myrtle Liqueur A Peraccia

Since 2019, Laurent Costa has been selling his Limoncello A Peraccia and his fruity Myrtle liqueur made with marc brandy and packaged in 50 cl bottles.

The estate's boutique also sells A Peraccia Muscat with natural sweet wine, and San Martinu olive oil.

Discovery trail - Art and wine

An art lover, Laurent Costa would like to set up ephemeral itineraries where you can discover, admire and contemplate works of art as you stroll through the vineyards.

Laurent Costa has been working in the vineyards for more than a decade, having previously served in the army. He has always been attracted to agriculture, and in 2011 appeared in an article in Le Point - Laurent Costa Domaine A Peraccia, and more recently in 2022 in an RCFM article and video. It was in 2008 that he seized the opportunity to take over the family domaine A Peraccia, with his predecessor teaching him the ropes of the winegrowing trade. Laurent Costa took over the A Peraccia estate with the challenge of preserving the fruity wine so appreciated in the region.
